Identify where the failure happens
The guide text and navigation on BottleHop.org are served by this site. The playable game is loaded from bottle-hop.1games.io inside an iframe on the homepage. If you can read this page but see a blank rectangle in the play area, the outer site and the embedded game are failing at different points. That distinction matters: refreshing the guide text will not repair a blocked third-party connection, while changing game controls will not repair a broken website link.
Start by naming the symptom. Is the entire BottleHop.org page missing? Is the page visible but the game area still loading? Does the game display an image but ignore your inputs? Does only fullscreen fail? Work through the matching section below. The homepage starts loading the external frame when the play area approaches the viewport. If it does not report a load event within roughly fifteen seconds after that request, a fallback offers Retry Game and Show Game Frame. A late load clears that fallback automatically. An iframe load event only says that a document loaded; it does not prove the game itself completed all assets or is playable.
Blank frame or stalled loading
First, confirm that your connection can load other websites. Scroll to the play area and give the game time to download. If the slow-loading message appears, choose Show Game Frame to check whether the external document has appeared, or Retry Game to restart only the frame without reloading the whole page. A slow connection or a content blocker may delay the external assets even when the surrounding guide appears instantly. Avoid repeated retries in quick succession, which can restart a large download before it finishes.
If the outer page works but the frame remains blank, check whether your browser, extension, school or workplace network blocks third-party game domains. Test a current browser with extensions disabled for this one site if that is allowed in your environment. You should not disable security protection broadly just to play. If a private browsing window behaves differently, a stored browser setting or extension may be involved. If both modes fail, the external provider may be unavailable. You can check the game provider's address separately, but be aware that visiting it is a separate third-party site with its own privacy practices.
Game visible, but input does nothing
Click or tap inside the game area once to focus the iframe. Try the control shown in the current in-game tutorial. The surrounding site mentions tap, click, or space depending on device; those are alternatives, not a promise that every input works in every version. If pressing space scrolls the outer webpage, the game probably does not have keyboard focus. On a mobile browser, make sure the tap lands inside the game, not on the site's Fullscreen button, navigation, or the browser toolbar.
If the game responds sometimes but not consistently, wait for the opening scene to settle before starting a new attempt. Check whether a modal or tutorial overlay inside the game expects an initial tap. If the behavior changes only on a particular device, compare with a second browser on the same device before concluding that the game has different physics. A browser accessibility feature, gesture navigation, or touch-action handling can also intercept an input. The controls guide shows a slow first-jump routine once inputs are working.
Fullscreen does not open or looks wrong
The Fullscreen button above the frame requests fullscreen for the wrapper that contains the iframe. A browser may require a direct user gesture and may deny fullscreen in certain embedded or restricted contexts. Try the button after clicking the page directly. If the browser offers its own fullscreen command, that may behave differently from the site button. On a phone, rotating to landscape may improve the visible area even when programmatic fullscreen is unavailable.
Fullscreen does not repair a blank or blocked game. If the frame did not load in the normal layout, return to the previous section first. If the game works but appears cropped, exit fullscreen and try the browser's zoom or orientation controls. Tell us the browser and device if the outer wrapper itself clips the game; visual layout of the external game is controlled by its provider.
Report a reproducible problem
If the issue persists, send a short report to service@bottlehop.org. Include the page URL, browser and device, whether the outer page loads, what appears in the game area, and the steps that reproduce the problem. A screenshot can help, but please avoid sending private browser data. We can fix broken links, layout, loading messages, and the iframe placement on BottleHop.org. We cannot promise to change the third-party game's code or availability.
To continue without the game, the landing guide and FAQ are ordinary HTML pages that do not depend on the iframe. The privacy policy explains the separate data practices of this site and the external game provider.
